Last year i attended a Scratch Live conference in Miami Beach and it was nothing like i thought it would be. i thought there would be a room full of skilled deejays testing out new equipment and trading music along with egos. It was in a Corner dive bar and all they played was Drum n Bass. The highlight was Z trips performance at the end of the night. They were promoting this website called whitelabel which is dope cause he has all types of dope shit. Free downloads and the quality is high for serato but it sounds like shit if you try to play it any where else...PEEP DAT!

Damn i wanted to post this on Monday but i couldn't sneak away from work long enough to post it.

Monday morning consisted of me being followed by a stranger on my way to the bus stop. i swore he was gonna try to rob me. i ended up yelling, " what the fuck you doing!!" from a distance and he walked away so nonchalant lol.

I get to the ATM and Bank of America took out all these crazy fees and left me with 9 bucks, I had to run home (I forgot to mention my electricity got cut off that morning so i was showering and got dressed the dark) and search in the dark for loose change. I sprinted back to the bus stop right when the bus pulled up. Mind you I'm on the heavy side and i haven't ran in almost a year. you do the math. I was fucking sweating bullets on the bus and i had this cold AC unit blowing in my face.

Anyways the moral of this story is as soon as i got to the ATM i called my boss and told her i was going to be late. I could already feel a wave of discouragement over coming me until i said fuck it. i sprinted my big ass home and back just in time to catch the bus and get to work on time. Usually i would have just gave up and got to work when i got there.

i am showing signs of improvement.....

I'm really going to try to keep up with this blog. At least once a week would be suffice. Lately my new shit has been this Juan Epstein Podcast with cipha sounds and peter rosenberg. If you haven't heard of the podcast or them check it out seriously. They come correct in everything they do. When I learn how to post links on this blog I'll hook it up.

Deejaying for me hasn't gone the way i wanted it to since moving to Miami two years ago. A Bunch of bullshit happen like getting laid off and getting my whip stolen and can stall your goals. On top of this economy turning to shit that doesn't help much either.

But i know deejaying is something that i want to be doing. I have to say i never gave radio much though until i started listening to Rosenberg and Cipha. I think that's something i will definitely try to put my energy into. Lately the dream has manifested itself into me working for cipha, paying my dues and coming up. But being the strong pessimist that I've always been it seems like a far fucking mirage in the distance. Like Williana told me a couple days ago, " Well if you say it like that then you've already failed." Williana is my under appreciated girlfriend going on 7 years on and off in case you were wondering. But she's right and i need to chill with that bullshit negative outlook. its getting me no where and its about time i make that change and i will make that change and i will keep up with this blog so you and i can see my progression. Ill definitely speak on hot topics and politics which you can post your opinion on. that will make this blog look official! I have to get back to the 9-5 grind right now so until next week.......
